MEGADETH Mainman's 15-Year-Old Son Begins Work On Debut Album

December 12, 2007

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has issued the following update:

"Two nights ago was the fourth greatest night of my life; following the birth of [daughter] Electra, following the birth of [son] Justis, following the day I got married.

"And I was asked to write a story about my trip from California to London and back [to see LED ZEPPELIN's reunion concert] for a friend whom I am going to contact as soon as I am done and will tell you which magazine it was.

"Needless to say, it was something that I will need the extra time to put into words.

"My sincere thanks goes out to Jimmy Page and Ross Halfin and Nori Watanabe for providing me this opportunity and stay tuned for my new feature, 'Diary Of A Maddog', which will contain my diary; in print and in podcasts.

"I am off to the airport to meet my family for Christmas, and this year I am going to help Justis start his record. And I gotta say, he's not a 'chip' of the old block, he's a 'chunk' of it.

"I heard him in the recording room while I was in the garage and he sounded better than I did at 15.

"So, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, and basically Happy Holidays to everyone that I may not know of how ya celebrate.

"And now its time for me to go."
